This live, DIY curly cut class is a one-on-one class specifically tailored to your curls. The class will be held online with Laura, the owner of Your Curly Girl.
Before the class begins, you must wash and condition your hair and your hair must be wet for the class. You must also have on hand:
A good pair of hair cutting shears that have never been used for crafts, cutting paper, kids projects, etc.
Spray bottle to keep your hair wet during the session
Hair ties or scrunchies
Hair clips
A brush that can grab your hair well
The class will last approximately one hour. We will discuss the goals you are wanting to achieve with your curls, and we will go step by step so that you can achieve the best results.
Please note: Because this class is held on zoom, and Laura will not be present to physically touch your hair, you take full responsibility for the DIY cut and the outcome. Steps will be explained before you make each cut so that you’ll know exactly how much you’ll be cutting off (remember curls shrink when dry, so if you want to take off an inch, you’ll want to cut 1/2”, etc.)
